Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. Under the supervision of nursing leadership, the LPN is responsible for routine treatments and services to ensure quality care for our residents and patients. The role also involves overseeing nursing assistants, contributing to evaluations, and addressing family and resident concerns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications and treatments, understanding their purpose and potential effects
• Complete documentation for observations, care planning, evaluations, and physician orders
• Monitor care completion and guide or discipline staff as needed
• Maintain communication across shifts, departments, physicians, and resident families
• Advocate for residents’ rights and prevent abuse
• Provide emergency first aid when necessary
• Practice and reinforce safe work habits
• Maintain strict confidentiality of resident and facility information
• Collaborate and communicate effectively as a team member
• Perform physical tasks such as kneeling, stooping, reaching, pushing/pulling, walking, sitting, repetitive motions, and more

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current LPN license or permit to practice in [Insert State]
• CPR certification required
